AgencyBenchmark ("we," "us," "our") operates agencybenchmark.services, an independent verification platform for modeling and talent agencies. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
From agencies applying for verification: business name, registration details, address and contact information; names of owners/directors submitted for identity verification; documents submitted to support the audit (business licenses, contracts, policies); payment information, processed via our third-party payment provider — we do not store full card details.
From website visitors: basic usage data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location via IP) collected through analytics tools; information voluntarily submitted through contact forms or the "Report an Agency" feature; cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
AgencyBenchmark verifies businesses, not individuals, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website. If a parent believes their child has submitted information to us, please contact us at hello@agencybenchmark.services for immediate deletion.
To conduct verification audits and issue or renew verification status; to maintain the public directory of verified agencies; to respond to inquiries, complaints, or reports submitted through the site; to improve the website and detect fraudulent or misleading submissions; to send renewal reminders and service-related communications to verified agencies.
Publicly displayed: verification status, business name, and summary audit results for verified agencies are shown in the public directory. Agencies are informed of what becomes public before verification is finalized.
Service providers: payment processors, hosting providers, and analytics tools that help us operate the site, under confidentiality obligations.
Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud or harm.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Agency audit records are retained for as long as an agency's verification is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. Visitors' analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's standard retention periods.
